so i was on itunes and decided to read what some people had to say about Britney Spears' new video...

one review said in closing "i don't want my daughter looking up to her"

i think it's funny, the people that think like this. what they don't realize is that to today's younger generation (the kids that are the age now that we were when Britney's first cd came out) Britney Spears is like Janet Jackson or Whitney Houston is to us.

kids don't look up to her any more. she's simply a musician. they look up to girls like Rihanna and whoever the latest Diney star is...

personally, i hope Britney makes it another 12 years so she can say she's been around for 20 years. it'll make her like Madonna to the younger generation 12 years from now. i mean, she already has a greatest hits album, so she's on her way! i might just feel this way cause i was a young Spears fan... but i think it'd be pretty cool.
